RP Profile Creation Feedback

Hey dears!

So, because we are so new, I wanted to get feedback on how the RPing process is here on Labyrinth. Best to work out a way that everyone feels good about as soon as possible, after all! I know it can be confusing at first, and I want to make the whole process as easy and user-friendly as possible.

Personally, I love profiles, as I feel like I get to put my own thoughts and feelings behind the character and really practice in getting to know the character in a detailed way that I usually hadn't before. But I know that a lot of people don't like profiles, and would much rather just jump into the RP fun!

So, my question to you all is: Do you feel the profile (and the RP prep) process is too much? Would you prefer that, for canon characters (Madoka, Sayaka, etc) there be no profile needed at all? Do you have any other suggestions or thoughts?

I think having a profile for canon characters is beneficial, because it's good to get a feel for the character, but I think maybe it should be a smaller profile than for OCs, as we already know some things about the canon characters (like appearance and such).

Another thought on this (sorry for double posting): one thing I did find confusing was how in-depth the history section was supposed to be; it's why that was one of the only sections I put off completing in my interpretation of Sayaka. So maybe there could be some sort of guideline for those longer sections like history and personality? I noticed that for the family section, you said it could be as in-depth or simply as we'd like; would the same thing apply for those other sections? Or maybe they would need to be more in-depth due to the nature of them, since they're not as easy to describe without going into some detail? Maybe they would be allowed to be more simple for the canon characters since we already know some things about them? Idk
