| What I want to as is if the manga series, Puella Magi Tamura Magica, is canon to the series?
The plot is that every time Homura resets time, the timeline is different somehow. Like in one timeline, Madoka is more forgetful and naive in comparison to the anime.
The manga showed some interesting concepts of the multiverse and a bar that holds all the Homura's that just gave up.
What do you guys think?

| I really liked Tamura Magica! I thought it had a lot of funny scenes and the concepts that were introduced were really interesting :o
Speaking of the bar of all the Homuras, I wonder if each universe is reset to the beginning of Homura's time that she's allotted to save Madoka, after it ends, allowing the Homuras to travel between the universes, since all the Homuras have to come from somewhere... |

| I'm glad that you like it too. I think all the Homuras are from separate dimensions or parallel worlds.
I think I messed up on the question. I was asking if the manga is canon which I hope it is. |

I don't think so. And now I don't really think Wraith Arc is canon. No matter how much I like Majuuka... My problem with Tamura that I just can't think the parallel words and Homura's way of crossing between them can work that way. My opinion is that 16th of March is a great forking point. The parallel worlds she visit can't be different at the time she wakes up in the hospital bed because it's her who causes them to diverge. She must always return to the exact same state and form a new path. From that point on everything's up to her and everyone's actions and the butterfly effect. And ending up the same way is the effect of the Primary Attractor (sounds pretty similar to Steins;Gate's Attractor Field Convergence, btw - it's a series released right after PMMM, another fav of mine, and I find the similarity of our terms quite remarkable!) that keeps parallel worlds parallel. Otherwise the concept of "parallel universes" would be a complete nonsense, they would diverge with breakneck speed with every action the billions of people take. So there must be a reason why things are so similar, why (mostly) the same people are alive, and the whole world still looks and works in a similar way despite many significant differences. And I found that reason or principle in this very Primary Attractor. That one could even call faith, if they want. But it's just a force of nature to keep parallel worlds parallel, in the cluster where they belong. I'm curious what Urobuchi-sensei would say about it. Of course MGC and GOSE aren't canon either, they're just my fan writings :D Oh, and do you have a link to a scanlation of this series(?)? Once I've read one with Queen Mami but I suppose there must be more. |

| Even so, there was proof in the series that states that it may be true.
From what I heard there was a symbol of a guitar. It may imply that Kyousuke used to play the guitar in one timeline. Then again I can't find solid evidence, just what I heard.
Even so, an army of Homuras would be amazing. |

| The violin, not the guitar. |

| What I mean is that in a timeline, he does not play the violin. From what I heard, it was thanks to Homura that he does instead of a violin. |

While there's no official answer as of yet, I doubt it's canon (although I wish it was, too). I suppose it is possible, but given the implications in the series, it seems unlikely. I agree with alvaro's explanation of it above. Although, how exactly such a system of parallel universes might work is definitely an interesting question. |

| All I know is that it may work like the Legend of Zelda Timeline.
In an episode of Game Theory, the game Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time causes three different outcomes depending on the situation.
You got the games from the world when Link travels to the future as an adult, the world where Link is kid, and where Link dies. Each of these situations lead to a series of different games. |

| It's an interesting series and I love the bar of the Homura's from all the different timelines, but unfortunately, I don't think its canon.
Here's why: 1. Alot of it is parodies of other anime and/or of Madoka Magica itself.
2. The manga volumes I have say that the story is written by someone named Afro. All the other Madoka Magica manga I have say that the story is by the Magica Quartet(who are the creators of Madoka Magica). So, I think that means this is just a parody manga written by someone else and the creators have given him/her permission to publish it commercially.
Basically, I see it as similar to a doujin/fan-comic, except that this one is a rare case where the author has permission from the creators so is able to sell it commercially. I'm sure the creators aka Magica Quartet get some of the profits too though.
3. In the anime as well as in the other manga, we see that every timeline that Homura goes through is serious and tragic. The comedic timelines in this manga don't really fit with that theme. |
